Civil Rights Defenders and the Roma cultural centre organised an event to present Roma culture to a wider public. GRUBB performed an hour long show, Ivan Preda exhibited Roma art, a variety of panel discussions took place with eminent members from foreign embassies and the civil sector, dealing with current Roma issues; Europe, the Balkans and Roma, and Roma women; tradition and emancipation. Mixerhouse is an arts venue created to allow dialogue between global trends and local/regional traditions, and to encourage the development of the local arts economy.
