GRUBB is proud to have been given this year’s top EU award for Roma Integration. We were chosen for our exceptional ‘contribution to inclusion, integration and empowerment of Roma children and young adults’ in Serbia. Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, said,’ The winners are not only great actors of today, they are also the shapers of tomorrow.’ Two of our proud Young Roma Leaders, Danijel Rasitovic and Silvia Sinani, travelled to Brussels to receive the award on GRUBB’s behalf and to take part in a 3 day study trip.
